We stand behind the quality of our merchandise and are happy to provide repairs due to manufacturing issues free of charge for one year from the date of purchase from our online store. After one year, repairs changes may occur.
Elective repairs, such as ring resizing or chain lengthening, or errors by the customer typically involve a charge. They are repaired at the owner's expense plus the shipping charge.

Can I get my ring resized if it doesn't fit?

Don't know your ring size? We're here to help. We have ring sizers available for purchase. But if the size you ordered doesn't fit, we offer resizes. For elective repairs such as ring resizing, there is a $50 service charge plus the cost of additional materials and shipping.

Do you offer 1/4 and 3/4 sizes?

Yes! We are happy to accommodate "in between sizes" please make a note of this on your order or drop us an email so we can ensure the perfect fit!

My ring size isn't listed. Can you help?

We do our best to offer our rings in the widest range of sizes possible, however for our one of a kind pieces we are limited in some instances to a smaller range to help preserve the integrity of the ring as well as the safety of the stone. If you have fallen in love with a ring but don't see your size please REACH OUT we can discuss the options for you and perhaps be able to make an exception or be able to recreate the piece for you in your size. Please note that large size increases may carry a fee for the additional materials needed to accommodate. We will always notify you of this fee PRIOR to the work being done.

I lost my earring. Can I order a mate?

Sure, we will be happy to create a mate for your lost earring. Half pairs of earrings cost half the price of a full pair of earrings plus shipping.

How long will it take for my jewelry to ship?

Most of our pieces are made to order so please allow 14 to 21 business days for your item to be created.

How will my purchase be shipped?

Please note that UPS Ground shipping can take up to 5 business days for delivery, depending on your shipping address.

We do have a maximum of $1000 per card, as cards are essentially like cash. They cannot be replaced if they are lost or stolen. If you would like to treat someone to something very special that is over the $1000 limit, please contact us via email at info@emilyamey.com.

Once ordered, an Emily Amey Jewelry card is mailed to the recipient. An option is available for the gift card code to be emailed to the recipient.

Where do you get your stones?

For Emily, the thrill is in the hunt, and she travels the globe seeking out the best and most unusual stones Mother Nature creates. From the high-end gem fair in Hong Kong, to the souks of Marrakech --the bazaars of Istanbul and the world famous Tucson gem show, Emily has a knack for always finding the needle in the haystack. This talent and dedication results in some of the most unique and beautiful stones used in jewelry today.

What kind of metal is used?

All the metals we use in our casting and findings originate from a domestic refiner which is 100% recycled.

We use 14k Gold in our pieces because we feel that it gives the perfect balance of beauty and strength. 14k stands for the amount of pure gold per 24 parts (ie 24k would be pure gold). Pure gold is very malleable and tends to break and bend very easily so it's not used often in Jewelry Gold can come in many colors, Emily uses yellow most frequently but, in some designs, employs the use of a lovely Rose or White Gold depending on the desired result.

Sterling Silver(.925) is one of the most common jewelry metals on the planet. It is stronger than pure silver (marked .999) and can be oxidized to create interesting design aesthetics. We back most of our pieces in silver to preserve the natural coloring of the stone, especially in semi-translucent gems.

Are your diamonds conflict free?

Yes, all of our diamonds are conflict free and in accordance with the Kimberely Process.

How should I care for my Emily Amey Jewelry?

We know that once you fall in love with Emily’s work you will never want to take it off, but it is recommended to remove ALL Jewelry when in in water for extended periods of time (showering, swimming) engaging in strenuous physical activities (especially those activities where the piece can be banged around) and while sleeping. We like to remember proper Jewelry Care and maintenance by avoiding the 4 S’s ; Sleeping, Swimming, Sweating and Showering. With Opals one must remember to never use a sonic cleaner or harsh chemical. Our recommendation is to clean jewelry with a mild soap and warm water; promptly drying after, or a designated jewelers cloth made for precious metals.

Why do the stones on my piece look different than those on the website?

We value the unique natural qualities of all the material we use. Many of our stones have natural texture, inclusions or coloring that can differ from stone to stone. If a piece is described as 'One of a Kind,' customers will receive the exact item pictured.

Do you make custom engagement rings?

We love creating future heirlooms, so don’t hesitate to ask! Nothing makes us happier than creating a one of a kind beauty to bring you joy for years to come

Can you make jewelry with a diamond or stone I own?

We love the idea of giving a forgotten treasure a new life. We'd be happy to discuss if this is something we can do.
